Astrology / Resurrection

Resurrection is an extremely rich sounding old school type R&B band, although the name implies a christian group... The implication of the name is for the obvious reason! An ensemble of christians which convey positive messages in their R&B music while performing for those who may, or may not have yet found their way in life. This band is also equally talented in the jazz, contemporary gospel and even classical genres. Many first time listeners are astounded by the musical diversity! Initially launched under their original name Astrology in the seventies, they received a heavy dose of influence from the musicians that expressed "love through their music" such as Earth, Wind & Fire, LTD and the Emotions. A more detailed explanation of the band's chronology is located in the "Band History" section of this website.
